So I was at Penny's today, shopping for Jillian, and yes, according to Penny's impenetrable sizing charts, she wears a 6x1/2 PLUS jean. That enough modifiers for you? Apparently, in Penneys' infinite wisdom, they don't carry 7 plus. They don't carry 7 1/2 plus. The area between 6x1/2 plus and 10 plus is an arrid vista.
Anyway, so since I was in the jean buying mood, i decided to get myself some jeans. I tried on a pair of size 16 jeans, which fit ok at the top, but skin tight on the thigh. I took them off, and looked at the size. The result? They were size sixteen SLIM. Hello? Nothing slim about a size 16, fella.
